Cascada is Spanish for waterfall and is used to inspire feelings of relaxation. Spa Cascada is a tropically inspired day spa, where you can be rejuvenated through a variety of spa treatments and “rehydrate your spirit”.

Amy Snider, a licensed esthetician opened Spa Cascada in August of 2005, in the heart of downtown Saratoga Springs, New York. Amy’s love for science, beauty, and Mexico began at an early age so the opening of a hacienda style spa in her home town came as no surprise. In 1993, Amy embarked south to the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville to compete in collegiate athletics. There she studied Kinesiology with focus on athletic training, working with collegiate and professional athletes. Amy continued her education upon returning to New York. As a registered Dental Hygientist educated at Hudson Valley, Amy worked as a health professional. A few years later she discovered her passion for the spa industry and attended the Aesthetic Science Institute in Latham, New York. Inspired by Mexico, where Amy lived for two years in Cabo San Lucas, changed her perspective on life and her career.

Spa Cascada expanded in November of 2010 to include a Boutique Salon, “Cascada Salon,” located downstairs from the spa, at 487 Broadway. Cascada Spa & Salon offer personalized results oriented treatments in a tranquil atmosphere. Amy’s mission is to bring the latest treatments, trends and products to Saratoga Springs.
